Finalists at the 2026 Australian Women's Small Business Champion Awards

Marketing Movement was named a finalist in the Digital Marketing category of the 2026 Australian Women’s Small Business Champion Awards.

Meg and Del went along to the awards night to represent the team. We didn’t take home the trophy, but we did get to clink our glasses together and celebrate our team, which honestly, felt like a win of its own (as cliche as it sounds).

Why this one meant a lot to us

The Australian Women’s Small Business Champion Awards celebrate female-led small businesses across the country. That’s exactly who we are.

When Del & Meg merged their agencies together, they wanted Marketing Movement to thrive with a simple idea at the core. Good work and a full life outside of work shouldn’t be an either-or. Flexible working is a big part of why we exist, and part of that is giving people, particularly women, the room to build a career without missing everything else.

So being recognised alongside so many brilliant women-led businesses? That one landed.

The night itself

Our team is fully remote and spread right around Australia. Most of our working days happen on video calls, usually wearing whatever’s comfy below the desk.

So swapping that for a nice dress, a proper night out and a glass of something bubbly was a treat. Del & Meg raised a glass to the team, to our clients and to the other finalists in the room.

The winner wasn’t us this time, and that’s okay. Congratulations to Wahroonga Flower Shoppe, who won the floristry category (and just so happened to be seated on our table) and to every finalist who made the shortlist.

This one belongs to the whole team

Meg and Del might have been the ones in the photos, but a finalist spot is never a two-person effort.

It belongs to our strategists, designers, developers, writers and ads and SEO specialists who show up for our clients every day. It also belongs to the clients who trust us with their businesses. Thank you. We don’t take that lightly.
