want to join our team?

We’re always looking for likeminded creatives to join our team. So let’s share a little more about us, so you can decide whether we’re the right fit for you!

Marketing Movement was created with two distinct goals in mind:

  1. To provide phenomenal marketing services to businesses all around Australia and beyond
  2. To give Aussies the chance to create the work-life balance of their dreams. Because we know when people love their job and their life, they make better humans, which has positive on-flow effects to families, local communities and the world.

Does this summarise you?

Then you may just be the perfect fit! And guess what? We’re not just after marketers – we’d also love to hear from you if you’re a sales person, virtual assistant, graphic designer, SEO specialist, website guru, or more. We expand our business based on the people who form our business (those awesome people, who share our values and are genuinely nice humans). So, if you think you’re the right fit and would like to join our team, get in touch. In fact, head on over to our Facebook or Instagram pages to see what our team have been up to lately!

Meet Meg

Director | Jazz hands extraordinaire

Megan has worked in marketing and communications for over 15 years. With a Bachelor of Communications, and two post-graduate qualifications in Digital Marketing and Digital Leadership and Management, Megan has spent most of her career in communications and marketing.

With experience across the globe, Megan has worked in England and Australia for public and commercial sectors – from small businesses to global listed companies, like BHP, Western Sydney Airport, Health Education England, local Council and more. She also consults around people, systems and culture, helping corporate organisations promote positive culture and mentally healthy workplaces.

Throw in some crazy achievements like representing Australia at World Sport Aerobics for good measure, and you have a well-rounded, jack-of-all-trades kinda woman. Outside of work, you’ll find Meg calming her perfectly chaotic family of five, scootering with her kids, nature walking and singing (badly) to show tunes. A glass of wine is often enjoyed (needed) on the weekends!

Meet Liam

Editor  |  Beard Bedazzler

Liam is our resident Osteopath and technical content writer. Studying and working as an Osteo in the UK, Liam then moved to sunny Australia, where he splits his time between the clinic and writing fabulous content for our clients.

Before venturing into allied health, Liam was a professional drummer and music teacher, playing with some big names like the Freestylers, and even played at Coldplay’s VIP afterparty at Wembley Stadium! He’s also released three albums with his band Storey.

After treating in a private clinic for many years, Liam now leads a team of Physios within an aged care setting. He’s a big nerd (which we love), and absolutely loves writing about all the weird and wonderful things the human body is capable of. Oh, and did we mention that at Christmas time he glitters his beard? Legend.

Meet Carolynn

Chief Web Developer | Spicy Marg Connoisseur

Carolynn grew up in bonnie Scotland, where she gained her degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering. After finishing uni, she moved to Sydney and spent her first decade there working as engineer on some of NSW’s biggest infrastructure projects.

Following a sea change to the beautiful seaside town of Kiama, Carolynn also embarked on a career change, following her creative passion and studying design. She has spent the past 9 years working with many different industries, from small business, to universities and government agencies on their design and website needs.

Outside of work, Carolynn enjoys playing football (soccer to the Aussies in the house!) and spending time with her two little rugrats, hubby and furbaby Georgie. She drinks way too many cups of tea each day (English breakfast, black, no sugar thanks!) and is partial to a spicy marg or three at the weekend!

Meet Del

Director | Ice cream enthusiast

Meet our co-Director, Lyndell! Better known as ‘Del’, her travel blog was noticed by a U.S marketing agency, who hired her upon returning to Australia in 2016. Since then, her passion for marketing has grown, working with a number of businesses around the world in a variety of sectors! From creating website copy, designing and managing social media and constructing blogs for clients, to running high-performing ad campaigns and building websites, she’s done it all.

With a successful business of her own, it was a no-brainer that 2022 saw her marketing biz, CopyCat and Marketing Movement join forces. It’s all part of our world domination plan (but don’t tell anyone).

With a background in performing arts, a passion for music and being an experienced Pilates & spin instructor, it’s fair to say Del likes to spice things up. When she’s not at her computer working with our team and setting up our clients for success, she is sailing the seas with her hubby and pooch, living the ultimate working nomad lifestyle!

Meet Gemma

Content Creator | Messy Desk Maestro

Gemma has worked in marketing and communications for over 15 years with global brands as diverse as Chivas Regal Whisky, Rugby England, and Faulty Towers The Dining Experience. She holds two postgraduate qualifications in Marketing from Monash University, and in Digital and Social Media from Curtin University.

Gemma is also an actor and dialect coach and has toured shows internationally. Mixing things up, she’s also a professionally performed playwright, an award-winning filmmaker, an occasional mummy-blogger, and a wannabe novelist. All this is fuelled by a little too much coffee and a lot of passion.

Outside of work, Gemma enjoys time with her family (usually involving a puzzle, a book, a bike, or a board game), travel, and a glass or two of red wine. She’s clearly our kind of person!

Meet Shweta

Marketing Maven | Sustainability Warrior

Shweta holds a Master’s degree in Marketing and has a decade of experience helping scale up brands digitally within FMCG, Retail, and Healthcare. Her journey through marketing has been a rollercoaster, navigating both the client and agency sides, and seen her working with global brands such as Clarks. She likes blending analytics with creativity, and working on campaigns that foster consumer connections and create meaningful impact.

Shweta is a dreamer at heart, always chasing adventures and new horizons. Her latest adventure? Moving to Australia with her family, where she is now basking in the endless sunshine and loving the vibrant food scene. We don’t have the heart to tell her that Melbourne isn’t our sunniest city just yet…

Monday to Friday, she is a marketing maven and outside work, she is a nature and fitness enthusiast, and a doting mum. On weekends, you will find her exploring, badminton racket in one hand and her kiddo’s hand in the other.

She is all about hygge- her best moments to herself are getting cozy with a book, wrapped in a blanket, tea in hand. Oh, and she is big on sustainability, always on the lookout to save the planet. Hit her up if you want to exchange notes on the latest in green living or minimalism!

Meet Jes

Marketing Maestro & Music Addict

Jes is passionate about creating beautiful content and engaging words for businesses (oh, and she’s an ads whiz!). She holds a Bachelor of Communications and has over a decade of marketing experience, working mainly in Cyber Security & high tech, but with some very random experiences thrown in the mix too… including managing a high profile V8 supercars sponsorship & joining Australia’s favourite children’s act, The Wiggles, for a day of planned publicity activities across Sydney.

Jes loves being creative and trying new things, which at the moment has herperfecting the art of sourdough and in the cooler months, battling it out on the hockey turf (even though she admits she still doesn’t really know the rules).

If she could, Jes would love to spend weekends attending gigs and concerts, but being a mum of two little ones (three if you include the fur-baby), Jes enjoys the simple moments in life; a hot cup of tea, a published client post, the first sip of an ice-cold beer on a hot summers day … and the occasional (ok, daily) boogie in the kitchen.

Meet Bec

VA & Content Creator | Professional Beach Hopper

With more than a decade of hospitality, wedding planning and event management experience under her belt, Bec has a real passion for creating unforgettable moments for her clients, friends & family, and of course, herself!

Never one to sit still, it is Bec’s mission in life to collect as many experiences as possible and give everything a go at least once… taking up roller skating as an adult might not have been the safest choice, but no one has broken a bone just yet!

When Bec isn’t party planning, you can find her at the beach with her snorkel, or in the spin studio sweating it out – and with a lifelong passion for music, her most recent obsession with DJ-ing has her hunting for new tunes and forcing her friends to listen to them…even if they aren’t that good. Pop a glass of chilled red in her hand, and you’ve got one happy chick!
