Two agencies, one shared belief
In 2018, Meg started Marketing Movement so she could live by the beach and be present for her kids without giving up a career she loved. She knew that if she could build that for herself, she could build it for other women too.
That same year, Del started her own agency, CopyCat. As an army wife who loved to travel, she needed a career that could move with her.
In 2022 we merged the two businesses to create the Marketing Movement of today! We haven't looked back. Now we're a team of 13 working across Australia, delivering digital marketing for small and medium businesses while living full lives outside work.
"We built the business we couldn't find anywhere else, and it turns out a lot of talented women were looking for it too."
Del Harbeck, Owner and Creative Director
Designed this way from day one
We didn't stumble onto flexible work. We started with the belief that trusted, well-supported people do their best work, and built every part of the business around it.
No office
The team works from wherever suits their life, from coastal towns to capital cities to a boat.
No fixed hours
People manage their own time. Nobody needs to ask permission for school pick-ups, appointments or a day off.
Self-managing
We are on a journey to be a 'teal' organisation. Decisions sit with the people closest to the work, not a management layer.
Transparent pay
Everyone can see what everyone earns, so pay stays fair and conversations stay honest.
Profit share
When the business does well, the team shares in it.
Careers for women
We create roles where people, especially women, can build real careers without choosing between work and family.
"When you treat people like the wonderful, capable adults they are, instead of employees who need watching, they do their best work."
Meg Storey, Owner and Managing Director

Meg Storey
Owner and Managing Director, Marketing MovementMeg started out in marketing, PR, communications and events, then fell hard for digital just as it was taking off. She grew with the field, eventually heading up the digital communications team for Health Education England, before moving back to Australia and consulting for ASX and London Stock Exchange-listed companies, government and small business across the UK and Australia, including BHP and the new Western Sydney Airport.
In 2018 she walked away from the corporate world to live by the beach and be present for her kids, without giving up meaningful work. She built Marketing Movement to make that possible for herself, then for other women too.
Today she's a leader, a marketer and mum to a proudly neuro-spicy household, including an autistic tween. Losing her brother to suicide cemented what she already believed about work and wellbeing. People come first, and the work is better for it.

Del Harbeck
Owner and Creative Director, Marketing MovementDel's journey has been a colourful one, spanning performing, travel and marketing, with a business mindset from an early age. She started performing professionally at 16 and spent 15 years as a featured dancer and singer, from Universal Studios in Japan to The Great Gatsby.
Her move into marketing began with a travel blog that led to writing work for a US agency, followed by marketing roles in Perth. As a military wife, she moved across the country three times, so in 2018 she founded her own agency, CopyCat, to build a career that could move with her. In 2022 she and Meg merged their businesses to create the Marketing Movement of today.
Culture has been her priority since her mentor and friend, Lauren Cramb, showed her what a team can be when its people feel supported, and it's reflected in Marketing Movement's win as Employer of Choice in 2026. Today Del leads creative and people, running the business from a boat as she sails Australia with her husband and their dog, Audrey. She's proof that an adventurous, unconventional life doesn't have to hold your career back.

At Clinical Physio Solutions, we’ve had a great experience working with Marketing Movement over the last 12 months. Their understanding of the allied health industry really sets them apart, and they consistently bring proactive, forward-thinking ideas and strategies to the table. Our client manager Coralee has been fanatstic and is in constant contact regarding new oppotunities for outreach. Rather than simply reacting to what’s happening, they’re always looking ahead for new opportunities and ways to improve our marketing. The quality of their work is consistently high, communication is excellent, and you can tell they genuinely care about achieving strong outcomes for their clients. We’ve really valued having Marketing Movement as a marketing partner and would highly recommend them to any allied health business looking for a knowledgeable, proactive and professional marketing team.Posted on Google

Del and the Marketing Movement team were phenomenal in helping our website plan come to life. The final outcome is beyond what we could have expected. At every step of the way the communication was clear, honest and in a very timely manner. We were always encouraged to ask questions and give honest feedback of the website. We honestly could not have made this without the Marketing Movement team which in turn will do wonders for our business. I highly reccomend the team and will not hesitate to use them again for our future products!Posted on Google

I had the pleasure of working with Meg from Marketing Movement on my branding for Trish Fallon Celebrant, and I could not be happier! The beautiful colour palette, fonts, and logo design are absolutely stunning — warm, modern and perfectly aligned with my brand. The Canva templates she created are going to make such a difference in how I show up online and in print. They are stylish, professional and so easy to use. Meg’s marketing advice was also incredibly valuable — clear, strategic and tailored to my business. She helped me see new opportunities and refine how I communicate my brand, which will absolutely elevate how I connect with clients. Meg was an absolute delight to work with — skilled, creative, organised and genuinely passionate about bringing my vision to life. I would highly recommend Marketing Movement to anyone needing support with websites, branding, marketing or strategy. It truly was a privilege to work with Meg, and I’m so grateful for her expertise and guidance!
